ICE is a whole new Chapter for Andrew Leatherbarrow after spending over 10 as a Freelance Mechanical Engineering Consultant with his Company Impress Visuals Ltd, Andy felt it was time to branch out with his own practice providing M&E services.

After liaising with long term friend & Business Associate Bob Eastburn of 01-Consult, the pair have taken their first steps together offering a full design service for all aspects of the Building Services Industry.

As the industry has now finally made the step over to using 3D modelling we feel that our vast experience in using 3D software puts us ahead of our competition.  We can boast that we have more than 20 years 3D modelling experience gained on a wide range of software such as;  Iron CAD, CATIA, AutoCAD, 3D Studio MAX, Mechanical Desktop and finally our industries leading modelling software, REVIT

Why the name Impress Visuals Ltd.

You are probably wondering why I picked Impress Visuals as a company name?  Well the simple answer is that way back in 2005 whilst working at Atkins, I took a great interest in 3D studio Max, and as a hobby at home I started to produce high quality renders for presentations, typically for Interior designers and Architects.  I was able to excel at this due to my training as a Technical Illustrator, honed over many years at Art School.

As Impress Visuals Ltd has been successful over the past 10 years it seemed a logical move to keep the name but add a trading name to reflect my focus on my core skills of Building Services Design.

Exciting times ahead, as we look forwards to building new relationships and assisting our clients with sustainable engineered solutions for the built environment.
